Ofsted have been back in the LAT…. AGAIN!
Earlier this week Ofsted visited Hyde Park Infants school and when they arrived on Tuesday morning it was looking absolutely amazing.
We will let you all know how it went in due course!

Ofsted’s report on the work of our teaching school, PTSA, as an apprentice provider is now out!

As the LAT is now an approved apprenticeship provider through PTSA, our teaching school wing, we are subject to additional, external scrutiny from Ofsted.
They will be back in 12 – 18 months for our first formal and official inspection, but the wording from their first monitoring visit is shown below.
An amazing result!
Well done us!

The LAT Fantasy Football results!
This season’s Fantasy Premier League contest has finally finished and the top 12 is shown below.
Ben from Ford was first, Toby from Hyde Park was second and Jamie from Prince Rock was third. Well done!
In terms of schools, Hyde Park, Prince Rock and Elburton all had 2 teams in the top 12. 5 other schools and LAT central also made the top 12.
In terms of the LAT heads league, Simon (me!) won that.
The LAT heads cup and the overall LAT league cup was won by Lucy from Prince Rock.
Well done all!
While the Premier League season has now finished for another year, the World Cup is about to start. If you want to join the LAT’s World Cup fantasy league, the link is here https://play.fifa.com/fantasy/join-league/CHF6OIJ9

Times Tables Rock Stars fun….. AGAIN!

A message from Helen Adkins, our LAT Maths lead
Thank you to all of you for making this a fantastic TTRS battle. I am so proud of the group effort as an amazing 4,381,234 questions have been answered correctly overall!
A huge congratulations to Plaistow Hill for keeping the crown 👑 It’s beginning to look like they’ll never lose the top spot! Well done to Mayflower, Ford and Victoria Road for taking the second, third and fourth spots.
Also, the top four schools for the total correct answers were Mayflower, Plaistow Hill, Hyde Park Juniors and Elburton. These schools answered over 2 million questions correctly between them!
I hope you and your pupils enjoyed the competition and this helped motivate the year 4 children ready for their MTC.
Well done everyone!
