Dear colleagues,
Welcome back after your summer break or welcome to the LAT if you’re joining us this term.
For those colleagues joining us today for the first time, good luck as you start your new role and I will hopefully meet you in the next week or two at one of our ‘Welcome to the LAT induction meetings’.
For those colleagues returning after the summer break, I hope you have enjoyed a fantastic and well deserved rest after all of your hard work last year.
As you enjoy your inset days to start this term, there will be no excruciating video from me to sit through. This year I am hoping to communicate with everyone through a blog on a weekly basis, so that I can hopefully keep you all up to date with what’s going on across our 18 school family. The blog will hopefully be accessible on our website, your LAT log in page and by email. It won’t replace ‘LAT chat’, the School Improvement team’s ‘Teaching and Learning newsletter’ or the termly parents newsletter, but it is intended to supplement those publications and keep you all informed about everything that’s going on in the LAT.
The first edition this Friday will contain a couple of brief updates on what our estates and IT teams have been up to over the summer…… and of course news from our first week back.
