This week I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful afternoon at Mount Street Primary.
The school looked and felt absolutely fantastic. A real oasis of calm learning in the middle of Plymouth’s city centre.
Walking through the school with its senior leaders, I met some wonderful children, I saw some great teaching and learning and some fabulous work on display.
I also saw first hand the huge impact the school was having with its most vulnerable learners.
The work the school was doing with its youngest children in its ‘Nest’ provision was fantastic to see and only matched by the excellent work going on with some of the school’s older children in the ‘Hive’.
Well done to Mount Street Primary!
In the 1st photo below, you can see the school’s Prime Minister and 2 Deputy Prime Ministers with Bridget and Paula, Mount Street’s Headteacher and Deputy.
I also had the chance to meet them too, as you can see in the middle photo and they really were wonderful ambassadors for the school.
The 3rd photo below shows Bridget and Paula engaging in a very important professional discussion…… and it wasn’t staged at all!
Mount Street was marvellous!

LAT wide INSET
This week a number of LAT staff came together to collaborate, but this time they did it online!
There was clearly an Ofsted theme as the first screenshot shows, but what a super LAT trio we had to deliver the training. Carly, Julie and Helen!
